I have a cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy. This means
we look at how your thoughts and beliefs impact your emotions and subsequent actions. Cognitive-behavioral
therapy (CBT) then uses strategies to recognize and teach ways to challenge this process.
I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, (DBT) for individuals who suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (TFCBT) for children who have experienced trauma and are having difficulty coping.
